Nisei Week Dance Practice 

For the second year, SFVJLI will participate in the Nisei Week Grand Parade on Sunday August 16th. (See route map here.) 

Please join us for Nisei Week Minyo Dance Practice with Sensei Lisa Hashimoto Tuesdays and Thursdays on July 28th & 30th, and August 4th, 6th, and 11th from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and August 15th at 12:30 PM in the SFVJLI Courtyard. You do not need to make it to all available practice sessions but the more you practice, the stronger your dance will be.

Finally, those who would like to participate in the Nisei Week Parade and in Ondo Closing Dances are also encouraged to join in at the Japanese American National Museum on August 13th and 19th at 4:45 PM across from the plaza at the Democracy Center in Little Tokyo.
