Undokai 運動会 (Sports Day) – Saturday, April 26.
School starts at 8:30 AM, held on the Bert Corona Charter Middle School baseball field next door, and we encourage all students to join in.
To ensure your child is able to participate, the consent form must be filled out and turned in. Please note that if you do not plan to attend, be sure to let your child’s teachers know in advance so the school can plan accordingly.
Undokai Donations
Parents are encouraged to bring individual water bottles and/or 12 oz Gatorade bottles to help keep students hydrated if they are able. Thank you for your support.It’s time for our annual
Bento Orders
Once the games are over, we will enjoy bento lunches together as well. Children’s bentos are included at no additional cost to parents; bentos for adults are $15 per person. Please include adult totals only on the form; the cost may be paid in cash, by check, or digitally through Zelle or PayPal. Bento Order can be paid during lunch time, but you must confirm today during the morning: frontdesk@sfvjli.com or 818-896-8612.
Undokai Prep
Setup kicks off at 7:45 am and all are welcome to come early to help setup move as quickly as possible. Parents are encouraged to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, water, and comfortable clothes as we will be running around in the sun. As always, closed toed shoes are required. Even with a signed release, those wearing open toed shoes or sandals will not be allowed to participate, including adults.
Portable chairs, beach umbrellas, and field blankets are all encouraged to make the experience more comfortable for everyone in attendance.
Finally, once all Undokai activities are over, all SFVJLI students and parents will help clean up and bring equipment back to SFVJLI. We wish to be respectful of our neighbors and leave their field as clean and welcoming as when we first arrived.
