Still not too late to sign up for Adult Japanese!
The San Fernando Valley Japanese Language Institute was started in 1924 under the auspices of 13 original members of the Shikishima club, to promote the Japanese language, culture and place for social gathering. Celebrating 86 years of service to the community, we are the largest Japanese school in the San Fernando Valley, with an average enrollment of 75 students.
Designed to introduce our children to the world of Art, Music, Dance, Theater, as well as Japanese Ceremonies and Traditions.
Assures both teacher and students receive the necessary training and materials required to maintain optimum education levels and skills.
Encourages students to become model citizens and instills in them a sense of civic responsibility and community involvement.
It is the responsibility of every parent to access and read the newsletters for important announcements and events. There will be hard copies available in the office for those of you who do not have access to email. School Year Calendar
