Boy’s day is celebrated on May 5th in Japan.  SFVJLI will be celebrating Boy’s day on May 1st with a field trip to Descanso Gardens.  We will be chartering a school bus for this trip. Field trip permission slips will be sent home with your students soon.  If you are interested in serving as a chaperone, please let the Gakuen office know.  You may consider driving in your own vehicle to Descanso Gardens, since there may not be enough seats on the bus for chaperones.

Since the teachers would like the students to enjoy Descanso Gardens to the fullest, the school day will be extended  to 2:00 PM on the day of the field trip.  Also the PTA will not make arrangements to purchase Obento, so every student going on the field trip will be responsible for their lunch.
