”Kurimanju Fundraiser”
The Kurimanju season is here once again! For those of you who don’t know what “Kurimanju” means, here is a brief explanation of this traditional Japanese confectionary. This delicacy is made out of sweet bean paste and wrapped with flour-based buns, shaped like a chestnut. For many years, it has been a school tradition for the parents and friends of SFVJLI to produce this tasty Kurimanju as part of the school fundraising. Please mark your calendar on March 8th to attend this event, as this is one of the mandatory duties for SFVJLI families. Please bring your apron and hat or bandana to cover your hair. Your Kurimanju Order Form is attached to this edition. We appreciate all of your help very much
