 SFVJLI will celebrate Japanese Children's Day on May 7th by having a picnic and Mini Undo Kai (Sports Festival) at Woodley Park.  The staff is planning games for all the students and parents.  The picnic will be held during the regular school hours (8:30 - 12:30).  We will have lunch at the park.  You will have the option of bringing your own lunch or you can order a Japanese Obento for a minimal cost.  
 
 At this point the plan is for  parents to provide transportation to and from the park.   Obento order forms and student waiver forms will be sent out soon.  We are working out the final details.
 
 Please mark you calendars to stay at the park and enjoy all the activities that the staff has planned for the students and parents.  If your child needs to leave early that day, you will need to make arrangements with your student's teacher.
