Our first mandatory volunteer event will be held on March 12th.   We are asking parents to sign up to help for this event.  Since this is a mandatory event, at least one member from each and every family MUST volunteer.  This event is not only for mothers to help.  We desperately need fathers to help also.  If you cannot make it please ask grandparents, uncles, aunts or a sibling to represent your family. 

The volunteers are needed to help make the Manju during school hours.  Last year the parents did a great job and they were finished making the manju by noon.   Mark your calendars to help and have a chance to network with other parents.

In order to speed up the mixing of the dough, we are asking parents to bring hand held electric mixers.  If you have one and are willing to share, please let us know since it will speed up the creaming process.

We will also need parents to volunteer on Friday Night at 6:30 in gakuen office to help roll the Manju filling.  The more the merrier.  If you can not find childcare, we will set up a video for the kids to watch and pizza will be served.
