TAX REBATE = REINVEST BACK TO OUR CHILDREN
|
|
Did you know that San Fernando Valley Japanese Language Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization? This means that we are a non-profit tax-exempt organization. The monetary donations the school receives can be deducted on a tax return. If you are expecting the federal tax rebase this month, please consider reinvesting some back to our school. The donated funds are used to pay for your children’s classroom supplies and field trip expenses, and you will feel great that your money is put to good use. The school also appreciates the many private and corporate donations and pledges as well as your volunteer time. One of the smartest ways to support our school is to give through a matching gift program, where a company -- or individual -- matches an employee’s donation to a 501(c)(3) organization, like SFVJLI. These matches are often dollar for dollar, which DOUBLES your charitable donation power. Your donations and corporate matching dollars are tax deductible. Many corporations large and small have dopted corporate matching gift plans to help support non-profit organizations like us and match gifts made by their employees. Every dollar you and your employer donate through a matching gift program enables our school and staff to enrich our students learning and awareness of Japanese culture and traditions. So check with your company and see if you can doubly support our school!
