OBON FESTIVAL SIGN-UP

The 2008 Obon Festival will be held on the weekend of July 5th and 6th. This important event requires the participation of ALL school families. SFVJLI will run a booth selling somen, edamame, mugicha and lemonade, all of which involves lots of preparation. A sign up sheet for the various 2-hour work shifts will be posted in the office from April 11th. The earlier you sign up for shifts, the better your chances of getting a time convenient for you. For all you high school students, remember that you can earn community service hours by working in the booth!
