MISSION STATEMENT
The San Fernando Valley Japanese Language Institute is a non-profit tax-exempt
school that reaches out to address the cultural needs of Japanese and other
children in our community. Our purpose is to educate the children with
the many facets of their heritage, as well as build an awareness of the
visual and performing arts.
A traditional Saturday morning school, we offer classes to students from
Nyumon (kindergarten) through High School in the Japanese Language. Here,
our children learn their native language, as well as the many ancient ceremonies
and traditions handed down through the centuries.
