It was a very hard decision to make. I loved teaching at SFVJLI. But, because of the side-effect from the breast cancer treatments I received about 2.5 to 3 years ago, I now have Lymphedema. My left arm started swelling since about 6 months ago. My doctor urged me to reduce my workload. I still have a full time job elsewhere, so I decided to leave from SFVJLI. I thank everyone for the wonderful 8 years.
Our older son and his wife now have a 10 months old daughter. Our younger son’s wife is expecting to have a baby boy this fall. I want to visit and enjoy our grandchildren more often.
I also have elderly parents. My father will soon be 87 and my mother will soon be 85. I would like to spend more time with them.
I wish the best for SFVJLI.
