On the morning of April 4th there were about 50 individuals from various community center organizations that came out and helped clean up the community center grounds. Thanks to the Gardener’s there is now an automatic watering system in our playground that will water all eight trees (two to be obtained or donated) all year round. In the future there are plans to replace all of the wood borders due to splintering. On Saturday (4/3) Richard Sadakane worked with Roy Imazu to start the project.

SFVJLI was represented on Sunday by Adelaide, Andrew F, George F Jr. and Natasha Ikejiri, Eric Kagiyama , Katy and Yoshiko Kawada, Kim sensei, Murata sensei and Kana Shimizu.
