VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

SFVJLI is an organization entirely run by volunteer PTA parents and teachers. The PTA does not mandate that all parents put in any volunteer time or make monetary donations, except for the Kurimanju and Obon Festival events. However, running a non-profit organization such as ours requires the many helping hands of the school’s parents. We are looking for volunteers for upcoming events. Here are some opportunities: June 02: Spring Yard Sale (sorting, setting-up, selling, or cleaning-up) June16: Bring refreshments for the Graduation/Speech Contest June30/July1 : Obon Festival (selling/preparing a soba stand)
