In the January newsletter it was reported that Marco Hiroshi Garrido-Bresciani, Kumi A. Nagai, Kentaro D. Nagai,  Christopher Mosier,  Sadako Shirtcliff and myself took the Japanese Language Proficiency Exam which was given by Japan Foundation.  Congratulations to  Marco Hiroshi Garrido-Bresciani, Kumi A. Nagai, and Yukie Shirtcliff (level 4) and   Kentaro D. Nagai and , Christopher Mosier (Level 3) for passing the exam and receiving certificates from the Japan Foundation.  It was a great experience for all of us that took the exam.

Hopefully more students will be interested in taking this exam later on this year.
