On the morning of December 7th the Japan Foundation gave a Japanese Launguage Proficiency Exam. There were 5 students from SFVJLI and Myself that took the exam. Marco Hiroshi Garrido-Bresciani, Kumi A. Nagai, Sadako Shirtcliff and myself that took the Level 4 exam. Christopher Mosier and Kentaro D. Nagai took the Level 3 exam. The results will not be available until March 2004. Just the fact these students got up early Sunday morning to take the exam shows their dedication to learning the Japanese Language and having a certificate to show for their hard work.
Also our hats are off to the parents that got up early and drove the children to downtown in the rain. Hope you all did well and we are really are impressed with your derication to learning the Japanese Launguage. Keep up the good work. Next year let's see more then 5 SFVJLI taking the exam.
