Mr. Iwami Announces Retirement

The PTA board has received a letter from our principal Mr. Hisashi Iwami stating that he will be retiring as of June 19, 2004.

SFVJACC Matsuri
|
|
On May 22nd, SFVJACC held a matsuri and Otsuka Art Sale. Various SFVJACC organizations sponsored booths. SFVJLI sold Michiko Cake and Edamame.

Boy’s Day Field Trip
|
|
Kodomo no hi was celebrated at SFVJLI with at field trip to Descanso Gardens. The children were treated to a bus ride to Descanso Gardens and each class took a self guided tour of the gardens. The teachers explained the names of the flowers in Japanese, so they also got a Japanese class while on the trip.

CC Clean Up

|
On the morning of April 4th there were about 50 individuals from various community center organizations that came out and helped clean up the community center grounds.
